A Better Me: Islam’s focus on personal development
Islam means ‘to submit.’ This requires the believer to submit to the will of God in all aspects of life, including attitudes, behaviors, interaction with other humans. Though submitting in belief and worship are also important, it a person’s character that truly beautifies them and makes them a pleasure to be around. Let us explore this aspect of Islam, and learn about Islam’s guidelines for character and behavior, as outlined in the Quran and Prophetic teachings.
